ADULT FITNESS CLASSES - PONSONBY AUCKLAND

OUR STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASS WITH CALISTHENICS OR HANDSTAND SKILLS

This class is the basis of all we do here at The Training Ground… challenging you to reach peak all-round physical fitness.

Each Strength and Conditioning class takes you through:

  1. We begin each session with a solid warm-up flow to build the capacity to train hard and move well through ranges of motion.
  2. From here, depending on the day – we explore & refine either handstands or calisthenics – developing impressive skills at a level that suits you.
  3. We then move onto our workout of the day – looking to build your endurance and balance out the days practice. Yes, it’s certainly intense, though our coaches know just how far to push and challenge you – while keeping it safe.
  4. We then finish the session with a deep, restorative mobility and flow cool down.

At the end of the day for us it’s about longevity – we want you to be able to do the things you love exceptionally well. This is the class to lay those foundations.

WEEKEND FITNESS CLASSES - PONSONBY AUCKLAND

OUR WEEKEND HANDSTAND SKILLS CLASS

Come and share our love of Handstands – these classes covers the fundamental principles of handstand balancing, through to the more advanced skills of handstand pushups, handstand walking and press handstands. Suitable for beginners through to more advanced.

OUR WEEKEND MOBILITY FLOW CLASS

This class offers a deep mobility practice including natural movement, agility and flow – with the aim to create, control and expand your usable range of motions – so you have a body that is fit to move.
